Our equality, diversity and inclusion training offers an interactive and informative session that allows you to ensure equality is part of the school/trust ethos and working practices. You'll gain a comprehensive outlook of the Equality Act looking into the public sector equality duty and gender pay gap reporting.

Our experienced trainers will also provide you with the latest industry knowledge and best practices, helping you to be inclusive, promote diversity and help staff be more engaged and productive.

About this event

Join our HR expert, Emma Jackson, as she delves into the Equality Act 2010 focusing on obligations and common issues to support you in your day-to-day practices, including:

• overview of the Equality Act and the ‘protected characteristics’ that form the basis of the law
• key legislation and the main obligations on the employer
• common issues in relation to employment 
• compensation regime in the Employment Tribunal for discrimination claims 
• public sector Equality duty and gender pay gap reporting 
• ensuring equality is part of the Schools/Trusts ethos and working practices. 

Payment Terms

Please ensure payment is made at least 48 hours before you are due to attend the training.

If you require a purchase order number on your invoice, please send this to finance@epm.co.uk following receipt of this email. This needs to include the attendee's name and training date.

Cancellation Terms

• If training is cancelled or rescheduled more than 7 days before you are due to attend the training, you will receive no charge.
• If training is cancelled or rescheduled less than 7 days before you are due to attend the training, you will be liable for 100% of the charge.
• If you book training less than 7 days before the training date, you have 24 hours following your time of booking to cancel or reschedule without a charge.
• Any time after that will be 100% chargeable.
