how to scrutinise the application form and other recruitment processes
how to carry out appropriate pre-employment checks at your school or trust, including DBS
how to create and maintain an effective SCR and personnel file for your recruits
the retention requirements to abide by for different documents.
On completion of this course, you will receive a CPD certification. Since the training is accredited, it also supports your employees’ professional development.
Payment must be completed using the payment link provided during booking at least 48 hours before the training date to secure your place.

If training is cancelled or rescheduled more than 7 days before the training date, no charge will apply.
If training is cancelled or rescheduled less than 7 days before the training date, 100% of the training fee will be payable.
If training is booked less than 7 days before the training date, cancellations or rescheduling can be made free of charge within 24 hours of booking. After this time, the full fee will apply.

Safer Recruitment Consultant
Beth's background in safeguarding and safer recruitment spans over 10 years. Her education experience includes work as a qualified trainer, having completed the Safer Recruitment Consortium training and her years of service with EPM. Beth is part of the South-east England Safeguarding Network Group whose aim is to keep safeguarding high on everybody's agenda. She is also part of regional groups and national forums that share best practices and develop policy as part of a DfE working group formed during consultation for KCSIE documents.
