In Addition: Midday Supervisor – Grade 3, Points 2-3 (Meridian Trust Support Staff Pay Tables) £2,326.70 – £2,368.93 actual earnings (£20,441 – £20,812 FTE)
Hours of work: 38 weeks per year (Term-time only), 23 hours per week. The post will also include 5 hours per week as Midday Supervisor. Total hours 28 per week.
We are looking for three enthusiastic individuals who would like to join our friendly and hardworking team as a level 2 teaching assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant looking to develop their practice in a new setting or for someone in the earlier stages of their career.
These will be fixed term contracts, in the first instance.
Encourage and promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
Develop the correct resources to support the students.
Monitor and track progress and provide feedback to aid in developing IEPs for children with additional needs.
Organise the learning environment and develop classroom resources as needed.
The ideal candidate
Experience of supporting children in a classroom environment, on a 1:1 basis, including those with a range of learning needs or challenging behaviour, would be desirable.
Has a good understanding of the education system and how children learn.
Believes in and can ensure the inclusion of all.
Is skilled at making and sustaining positive relationships with children.
