Teaching Assistant

Brington C of E Primary School is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant

Hours: 5 days per week (8.30 am – 3.15 pm)

Post: KS1 or KS2 dependent on skill set.

Contract- Permanent

Pay: will be based on experience.

To start: September 2025

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• An ability to support learning for 1:1 children or groups in KS1 or KS2;

• The ability to work in a team but also to use your own initiative;

• Organisational and time management skills;

• The ability to manage and deal with challenging behaviour;

• Patience and a good sense of humour;

• A desire to learn and take on new challenges;

• The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues;

• An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.

• Experience in leading or supporting Forest School sessions, or a strong interest in developing skills in this area.

The closing date for applications is noon on Thursday 22nd May 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and these will be held on Tuesday 2nd June.
