Salary: Level 1 point 3–4 / Level 2 point 5-6
Start Date: 01 September 2025 (flexibility may be given due to notice period)
We are looking to appoint part time teaching assistants who are highly motivated, innovative and in tune with our school values to ‘be kind, work hard and aim high’. This is a rare opportunity to join an extremely friendly, committed and supportive school community.
The roles are to support children with medical conditions (and EHCP already in place) who will be joining our reception class in September 2025.
Visits are strongly encouraged, and we can be accommodating to various dates and timings with regards to this.
The successful candidate will:
• Be committed to inclusion.
• Enjoy making learning a positive experience.
• Have some experience of adapting the curriculum and creating bespoke activities to meet an individual’s needs.
• Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills.
• Be able to work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo but have the ability to use their own initiative to support individuals.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills that motivate and inspire children.
• Be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and be prepared to develop relationships with children who need consistency and clear boundaries from someone who really cares.
• Have some experience in supporting children with medical conditions within an educational setting.
