At Spring Meadow we are extremely excited about the expansion of our current unit to offer 30 spaces. Our specialist unit is for children with EHCPs and a diagnosis of autism and speech and language communication difficulties.
This is a fantastic opportunity as the school’s special needs unit will be expanding from 10 to 30 pupils and will be relocating to a different part of the school where we will have a purpose built sensory room, library, outdoor space and much more. We are looking for teaching assistants with enthusiasm and passion to come on this journey with us.
Desirable applicants should:
• Have understanding and experience with children with autism
• be an excellent classroom practitioner
• have high expectations of behaviour and achievement
• have a commitment to teamwork and a collegiate approach
• be able to build relationships with children and colleagues
• have the ability and determination to inspire and motivate children to achieve the best they can be.
• have an uncompromising passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning
