Join our NEW virtual Managing Sickness Absence Training where our experts will provide you with practical advice in managing sickness absence in your School or Trust. You will be informed of the impact absence can have on your organisation and understand what to do in the formal and informal stages of these absences.

This course is ideal for SLT, Line Managers, and anyone who deals with absences in their current role.

Saska Griffin-3

Saska Griffin, Lead HR Partner

Saska has wide-ranging HR experience, having worked within the education industry across internal and external functions since 2011. She advises and supports customers in areas including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and change management. Since joining EPM, Saska has been integral in providing specialist employee relations advice and supporting the development of the HR Advisory Team.

Katy Franklin-1

Katy Franklin, HR Partner

Having joined EPM in 2017, Katy has a wealth of experience supporting and advising school leaders with a range of employee relations casework, including grievances, disciplinaries, capability, redundancy, restructuring, and TUPE. She regularly assists schools with issues relating to sickness absence and has a proven track record of helping schools deliver positive outcomes in this area.In addition, she provides coaching to internal colleagues and is passionate about wellbeing issues, having gained a qualification in Mental Health First Aid
