Beverley Tredget, a Chartered Member of the CIPD, boasts over 25 years of dedicated service within the legal and education sectors. Her expertise lies in conducting complex and sensitive workplace investigations, including tribunal and TRA hearing attendance. Beyond investigations, Beverley has a wealth of experience in harmonisation, restructuring, policy evaluation, and senior leader recruitment. Additionally, she is a trained mediator. When not managing the HR Consultancy service, Beverley is a keen runner, cyclist, and walker with a passion for foreign travel. She is a coach and member of the management committee of her local running club and a member of the club safeguarding sub- group.

Emma has over 15 years of training experience, working with audiences of various sizes. Her expertise in HR and investigations, particularly within the education sector, is extensive. As a CIPD-qualified HR Consultant, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Emma is also certified as a safer recruitment trainer and is affiliated with the Safer Recruitment Consortium. With a background in employment and criminal law, Emma is highly skilled in investigative work. Her HR focus lies primarily in employee relations, with past specialisations in grievances, disciplinary procedures, and attendance management.

Andrea, an HR professional with 15 years' experience in East and North East London secondary school settings, joined EPM in 2020 as Lead HR Partner. Transitioning to the HR Consultancy team in 2022, she has conducted numerous complex investigations into disciplinary, grievance, whistleblowing, and parental complaints. Her expertise extends to devising and leading on restructures and conducting HR and safer recruitment audits for customers. Throughout her career, Andrea has provided training and is passionate about empowering school managers and leaders to better understand HR and People Strategy in schools, particularly around support staff management and development.

Jane is an award winning Human Resources Director with a history of working in the Further Education sector and public sector, including NHS. Jane has a master’s degree in Employment Law and is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD. Jane has over 30 years strategic and operational experience and has a successful track record of managing change programmes including large organisational restructures, redundancy and TUPE. Jane can create strategic solutions and implement them operationally. She is an effective people leader with a successful track record of designing and delivering people strategy and large-scale people change programmes.

Kay is a Chartered member of the CIPD (MCIPD) and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Kay is a credible HR professional with significant senior level strategic and operational HR experience gained in private & public sector companies. She has worked as a Director of HR and Head of HR in schools and the NHS. Commercially experienced Kay has a solution focused, pragmatic and ‘human’ orientated approach with excellent communication & influencing skills.

Amanda has 23 years HR experience with the last 15 years having been within Education. She has held roles such as HR Manager and HR Director, line managing a team of up to 15 HR professionals. She has also been a been a school Governor for 10 years. Amanda is Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and has a diploma in Counselling.

Helen is a qualified Teacher in Physical Education, Dance and English with a BA (Hons) QTS; MA (Ed), NPQH; NPQEL and Advanced Certificate in Coaching. Helen has been a successful Executive Headteacher and has worked as part of a central team as an Assistant Director of Education overseeing the provision of 5 schools including special schools. She has carried out consultancy work for local authorities as well as universities. Helen is currently and non-executive director for an Academy Trust as well as working with EPM as a consultant.

Jonathan has had a teaching career in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough starting back in 1988. He was appointed as CEO of Aspire Learning Trust in October 2016 with responsibility for all the aspects related to the running of the schools, from HR, payroll, staffing, finance, infrastructure and student performance. In 2019 he was appointed as the Chair of the Academy Council at King Edward VII Academy Trust, and he is also a Trustee of another Multi Academy Trust in Norfolk. After a very successful four years with the Aspire Learning Trust, Jonathan officially retired but now works as a Consultant for a Multi Academy Trust and EPM.

Lucy is an Associate member of CIPD with a BA Hons in English Language. Lucy is a is an experienced HR Generalist with extensive experience of investigations, employee relations casework, absence management and policy review. She aims to support organisations through complex people issues and the processes that follow to achieve the right outcome whilst remaining compliant and minimising risk to the employer.

Sarah is a Chartered member of the CIPD and has worked in the education sector for over 20 years. She has a broad generalist HR background, with significant experience of managing employee relations and working with trade unions. Sarah has undertaken a variety of projects including grievance and disciplinary investigations, HR support for restructuring and TUPE exercises, employee relations cases, mediation projects and delivering Safer Recruitment and other HR training. Sarah is an experienced Safer Recruitment training facilitator for schools (accredited by the Lucy Faithful Foundation) and has designed and delivered various people management workshops for line managers. Sarah is also a qualified workplace mediator and team facilitator.

Paula is Level 5 CIPD qualified and has worked as an HR professional for 27 years with a diverse experience spanning various sectors. Paula has experience in both strategic and operational HR and is passionate about fostering positive workplace environments, driving organisational effectiveness, and aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives. She has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of the Education Sector and has the ability to adapt people strategies to align to business goals. Paula also has hands on operational experience, from designing comprehensive training programs to resolving complex employee relations issues.

Steven is the co-founder of Unity School Services. He has worked in the education sector for over 15 years. Steven is currently a specialist Leader in Education. He has provided many schools with a range of solutions in areas including governance, business and financial management, school marketing reviews, in house catering and human resources support. Steven has supported schools, as a Specialist Leader in Education and has delivered admin audits, audit reporting, finance support, internal audit and workshops as part of the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) qualification. Steven combines his wealth of knowledge and expertise with a passion for school operations, ensuring that all the ‘small cogs keep the big wheel turning’ to achieve the best outcomes for children, school leaders and the wider school community. Steven is a lover of the arts, musical theatre, and live bands.

Jenny is an experienced HR practitioner across numerous disciplines including employee relations, HR operations, reward, recruitment, and HR management information. Jenny is Chartered Fellow of the CIPD with and MBA. Jenny was Director of HR and OD at St George’s, University of London and also worked in HR at the House of Commons and Bank of England. Jenny has strong analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to quickly build relationships across all levels in an organisation.

Dr Wayne Birks holds a BA (Hons) MA NPQH EdD. He has been a Headteacher for 20 years leading three large secondary schools to improved GCSE and Post 16 outcomes and multiple Ofsted successes. He is a former SIP (school improvement partner) chair of Local Authority and academy partnerships and specialises in strategic leadership/self-evaluation, change management, governance, amalgamation and school culture. Wayne has co-authored books, published articles and advised and written for school history television programmes. He has led history teacher training at university level and in 2005 was seconded by Cambridgeshire County Council to assist a school out of Special Measures. He also holds a doctorate in Education from Cambridge University specialising in school culture and currently supervises Cambridge University undergraduates and assesses NPQ’s for a large national provider.

Willorna Brock is a Senior HR professional with a background in Education, having taught Modern Languages at secondary level. She has experience ranging from micro-SMEs to large multinationals in the public, private and non-profit sectors. At the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Willorna was the first HR Business Partner, and left as their Head of People having spearheaded significant developments and led strategic HR projects. Willorna has many interests outside work including voluntary work supporting young adults with employability skills. Willorna also volunteers as an Enterprise Advisor supporting Careers leaders and is the Member Communications Lead for CIPD Southwest London branch.

Harriet Roberts is a CIPD qualified HR Consultant and Professional with over 13 years’ experience in the industry. Based in Nottingham, Harriet has extensive experience working alongside and partnering with senior leadership teams across both public and private sectors, specialising in education as well as support services, manufacturing, supply chain and non-profit organisations. Throughout her career Harriet has dealt with matters spanning across the HR spectrum, including complex employee relations cases, redundancies, restructures, recruitment and policy review and development. Harriet is a trusted expert HR professional who builds professional relationships quickly and works with them to provide pragmatic and effective solutions.

Suki is a CIPD qualified HR Consultant with 18 years’ HR experience, half within Education. Based in nearby Coventry, she previously worked within the Schools’ Team within two Local Authorities, including one within the West Midlands and more recently worked as a School HR Manager, being promoted to Trust HR Manager. Suki has extensive experience working with CEO’s, Headteachers and senior leaders and has supported with a large range of complex staffing issues, high level casework, disciplinaries and grievances.  Suki is professional, confident in dealing with challenging situations and quickly build strong and professional relationships. Suki’s extensive experience has taught her the importance of maintaining a professional distance, tackling situations head on and clearly managing expectations.

Clair has a BA Honours in Business Studies and HR Management and has worked as a HR Consultant for 12 years. Her work includes providing advice on organisational structures, making recommendations on key areas for improvement, facilitating employee-management communication strategies, and coordinating training programmes to align employees with the organisation’s goals. Clair has worked with senior leaders in education to support them through complex employee relations casework including TUPE, restructures, disciplinary and grievance investigations.
