Why work for us?

A lot has changed since EPM was first founded. There are now around 200 of us supporting our customers – but we’re ambitious as ever and still growing. And that means we need more fantastic people who share our ambition and want to be part of our journey.

Our people values:

  • Always there - Working at EPM is fast paced, but your colleagues are always there to support you and make you feel part of the team from day 1.
  • An open door culture - We care about our employees – personally and professionally. We seek everyone’s views on key issues with an open door culture we’re proud of.
  • Supporting your initiative - We welcome new ideas and embrace innovative approaches that drive both business growth and individual development.
  • Empowering your success - We support your career goals, including career changes. We provide in-house training to help you settle in, and external qualifications to further your progression.

"Working at EPM has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Every day, I’m surrounded by passionate, supportive colleagues who inspire me to grow and achieve more."

Brett Roberts, Director

"One of the biggest benefits for me is the flexibility to work term-time plus and part-time, which supports a healthy work-life balance and allows me to spend valuable time with my young family, while still enabling me to progress and develop my career."

Bethan Argent, People Partner

"EPM is a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same, which keeps the role varied and engaging. What stands out is the supportive culture. You're encouraged to try new things, share ideas, and contribute to improving the way we work. It's a place where you feel valued and supported to grow both personally and professionally."

Francesca White, Business Development Manager

"EPM’s culture is what makes it different. You feel valued as an individual, with the flexibility, support and opportunities to grow your career. The team is fantastic, there’s a real sense of working together, and everyone genuinely cares about delivering a great service to our customers. "

Natalie Northall, Head of Marketing

"Having worked in schools myself, I understand the challenges school leaders face. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping to take the stress out of complex HR situations, giving leaders practical solutions so they can focus on supporting their pupils. I’m proud to be part of a team with such a wealth of experience."

Kirsty Beatt, Lead People Partner

"Since I have joined EPM, they have been incredibly supportive of my development, offering regular training, shadowing opportunities, and encouragement to take the next step in my career. "

Rebecca Wilson, Customer Support Adviser

"What I've enjoyed most about the apprenticeship is the different learning opportunities it's given me within the Advisory department. The variety of support we provide has helped me develop my overall understanding of education HR. "

Charlotte Mackey, Trainee People Adviser

"I'm studying for my CIPD Level 3. From leaving school at 16 and coming straight into the workplace, I've constantly felt supported by EPM. I enjoy working with the team and the opportunities and experiences it has given me in the field of HR. "
