Part time 1:1 TA with a named child in year 1

Barnabas Oley C of E Primary School is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 1 child in an outstanding Ofsted rating school.

Start date – Part time be part of a job share to start after half term on Monday 2^nd November

Part time and hours – Wednesday 1.00 – 3.20, Thursday and Friday 8.40-3.20

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team to work with a Year 1 child with additional needs in a mixed Reception /Year 1 class. You would work as part of our inclusion team working 1:1 with a named child.

Salary: point 03 - £24,796 Full Time Equivalent

·        An ability to support 1:1 learning

·        Patience and a good sense of humour

·        A desire to learn and take on new challenges

·        The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues

·        An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
