Hampton Academies Trust is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Deputy Trust Estates Manager to support the operational management of our growing family of schools. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact across the trust, helping to ensure our schools provide safe, secure and high-quality learning environments for more than 3,500 pupils and staff.
Working closely with the Trust Estates Manager, you will play a key role in the effective management of estates operations, supporting compliance, maintenance, health and safety and ongoing improvement projects. The successful candidate will also work closely with school leaders and the wider Trust team to deliver outstanding facilities that enable our pupils and staff to thrive.
You will also deputise for the Trust Estates Manager when required and contribute to the strategic development of our estates provision.
About the Role
You will:
Support the management of estates, facilities and grounds across all Trust schools.
Lead on day-to-day health and safety compliance and statutory inspections.
Manage contractors, maintenance programmes and improvement works.
Supervise and support Site Managers, Site Officers, Assistant Site Officers and Cleaning Staff.
Help ensure all sites remain safe, secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
Monitor building performance, utilities and maintenance schedules.
Respond to site emergencies and help coordinate remedial actions.
Contribute to the development of efficient, best-value estates services across the Trust.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in estates, facilities, site or property management.
Possesses strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Has experience managing contractors and staff teams.
Can prioritise workloads across multiple sites and work effectively under pressure.
Has practical knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical/electrical systems.
Demonstrates excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Is committed to delivering high standards of service and supporting educational excellence.

Salary Range:
£39,152 - £42,839
Salary is dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience.
