Y6 Class Teacher temporary part time (2 days per week)

Part time, temporary class teacher role in Year 6.

The governors are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic teacher from 1st January 2026 who will be able to complement our dedicated hardworking team of staff.

Duxford Church of England Community Primary School is a friendly village school set in a rural village about 8 miles south of Cambridge. The school has a warm, welcoming, productive atmosphere where every child is valued.

We use a therapeutic, restorative approach to encourage good behaviour, and pupils benefit from sessions with ELSA trained staff who support children 1:1 and in nurture groups.

* is enthusiastic and loves being a classroom teacher

* is an excellent classroom teacher with experience of teaching in Year 6

* has knowledge of SEND and is able to adapt learning to achieve successful outcomes

* believes in a therapeutic, restorative approach to encourage good behaviour
