Level 3 EYFS Practitioner – Room Leader (Term Time School Setting)

Meldreth Preschool is at the heart of our friendly village community, providing high-quality early years education for children aged 2–4 years. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join our dynamic Early Years team as a Room Leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and education within a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment.

As Room Leader, you will:
– Lead, teach, and support children to develop and thrive within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
– Deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences
– Inspire and support a small team of practitioners
– Ensure high standards of care, learning, and wellbeing
– Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

The ideal candidate will:
– Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
– Have a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS
– Demonstrate good leadership and organisational skills
– Be creative and enthusiastic, with the ability to plan sensory, small world, and creative activities
– Work effectively as part of a team
– Bring a caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach to their work

Hours 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Term time only

Salary Point 5 – 6: £13.05 – £13.26 per hour
