Class Teacher - Year 1

Westwood Primary School is seeking to appoint a
Class Teacher – Year 1 (main scale / UPS)

Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2026; to begin as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, committed and highly motivated individual to join our school as a class teacher. This is an exciting
opportunity for individuals to join us to help support our Year 1 cohort by teaching both whole classes and groups of pupils with additional needs; it would suit someone who is an effective team member and is passionate about making a positive impact to ensure that all of our pupils flourish.

Westwood Primary School is a four-form entry school, split across two neighbouring sites with lots of space for outdoor learning and sport. Our ethos is ‘Learning and Growing Together through Excellence and Enjoyment’ and our pupils are at the centre of all we do. We want to
encourage our pupils to become inquisitive, confident, life-long learners, whilst making a positive difference to our local and global communities.
