As a welcoming, vibrant and oversubscribed College, we are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Head of Science to join and lead a highly successful and innovative Science Department. Facilities and resources within the Department are excellent. Staff are extremely supportive with a clear focus on exceptional outcomes for all.

Our recent Ofsted inspection judged our students’ conduct to be outstanding stating how they are polite and respectful in and around school. They behave exceptionally well in lessons – our classrooms are calm, focused places where students work hard and show pride in their learning. We have high standards and our students rise to meet them.

Students are enthusiastic about Science, as evidenced by our consistently strong outcomes both at GCSE and A Level. We have a healthy uptake of single sciences at GCSE and all post 16 science courses.
