We have an exciting opportunity to join our committed and enthusiastic team working in our Enhanced Resource Base (The Woodland) as well as in the main school. ‘The Woodland’ caters for 8-10 children with social communication difficulties where 100% mainstream provision is not appropriate. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our teacher led team as well as supporting in the main school. This will be a temporary 6 month contract (with potential to extend).
We’d love to hear from you if you:
• Have experience and/ or particular interest in the area of Autism;
• Have experience of working with children who may need adaptions to the way they work to achieve their full potential;
• Understand that some children may communicate through their behaviour;
• Have a ‘can do’ and ‘never give’ up attitude when working with vulnerable young people;
• Ability to promote both the academic progress and well-being of children;
