The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT)

is seeking to appoint an

Application and Data Technician

35 hours per week – Term Time + 10 days

Salary: point 7-11 £26,403 – £28,142 FTE (approx. £23,153 to £24,678 pro-rata)

Location: The post is based at DEMAT’s offices in Ely and our office at Weeting CofE Primary School with some travel to academies across the Trust.

Hybrid working available including some remote working each week.

Commencing January 2026

The Diocese of Ely Multi Academy Trust is seeking an Application and Data Technician. Candidates must be self-motivated, customer-focused, able to use their initiative to resolve challenges, possess great communication skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

The successful applicant will:

· Have experience using databases and/or school MIS

· Have experience of using common user applications, i.e. MS Office, Google Apps

· Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
