Contract Type: Permanent, Part – Time – 28 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Salary: USP Grade 6, sp 24-27 (FTE: £39,862-£42,620 / Actual: £30,165 – £32,252).
Location: Haverhill or Bury St Edmunds based*
*To reduce our carbon footprint, we look to allocate schools with travel distances in mind, therefore this role would benefit someone who is willing to travel to the Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk area, to be discussed at interview.
Are you an experienced finance generalist with strong employee relations skills, looking to join a flexible and supportive Finance Business Partnering team?
Unity Schools Partnership is seeking a flexible, motivated, and committed Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. About the Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting schools across our trust. Your responsibilities will include:
- Line managing Finance Administration staff across schools
- Preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Providing budget monitoring reports and variance analysis
- Ensuring month-end procedures are accurate, robust, and compliant
- Overseeing effective financial administration processes and ensuring adherence to financial regulations
Due to the multi-site nature of the role, you must hold a current driving licence. Our travel claims policy ensures you are fully supported with travel requirements.
