is seeking to appoint an
IT Technician
to join our Central Team
Payscale: £30,024 – £32,061 per year (plus travel allowance)
35 hours a week, 52 weeks per year
Commencing: February 2026
Location: Hybrid – Central Office in Ely/Weeting, remote working and regular travel to schools
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our IT Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal time as we begin transforming IT across the Trust. You will play a key role in the roll-out of Google Workspace for Education throughout our 38 schools, with further opportunities to support our new flagship secondary school in Alconbury as the Trust continues to grow.
The ideal candidate will:
· have a strong background in Google Workspace for Education in order to provide support and training to staff
· have experience of troubleshooting hardware and software issues;
· have a good knowledge of IT Systems and Networks;
· be able to work independently and with initiative;
· be well motivated and flexible;
· have strong problem-solving skills;
· ideally have experience and knowledge of an education environment;
· be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
· have a valid driving license for travel between sites.
The IT team is part of a wider central team who work across a number of functions including HR, Finance, Facilities, Governance and Education. We work in partnership towards the common goal of delivering an excellent education for our pupils and a supportive, enriching place to work for our staff.
