Job Title: Temporary Nursery Assistant (Special Needs) – Preschool
Hours: 15 hours per week
Working Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Time: Between 9:00am – 3:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our preschool team. This role involves providing dedicated support to children with additional needs within a nurturing early years environment.
The Role:
• Support children with special educational needs to access the preschool curriculum
• Work closely with the preschool team to promote inclusion, independence, and development
• Assist with daily routines, play-based learning, and structured activities
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have experience working with children with special needs (desirable)
• Have experience working with preschool or early years-aged children (desirable)
• Be patient, empathetic, and reliable
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Be committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
