Our morning Receptionist and Administrator will be going on maternity at the end of March and we are therefore looking for a professional and skilled individual to join our administration team to cover her maternity leave. This is a part-time post offering front of house and administration support in the mornings before passing over to the part-time Receptionist and Administrator who works in the afternoons.
This is a key post in a fast-paced environment and requires a forward thinking, responsive professional. You will need to have excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills, be fully proficient in the use of a variety of IT systems including MS Office and be confident in adapting to new systems. You also need to be able to form positive relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors, and visitors. Flexibility, prioritisation and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as a passion to helping improve the education of our students through providing high quality administration support. You don’t have to have worked in an education environment before, although previous experience in a school office would be desirable.
I hope that, by reading this information pack and by considering how your own skills match those needed to meet this fulfilling role, you will feel inspired to apply for the post. Visits to the school are very welcome; meeting the staff and the children will give you a clearer picture of the opportunity that this role offers.
