Join Our Team as a Midday Supervisor
Are you passionate about creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment for children during their lunchtime? We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
As a Christian school, our ethos is rooted in the biblical encouragement to “Build Each Other Up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). This underpins all that we do, nurturing a community where children and adults support, encourage and value one another.
Everything we do is shaped by our STAR values:
Self-Belief – We encourage children to grow in confidence and make positive choices.
Teamwork – We work collaboratively, building strong relationships and supporting one another.
Ambition – We encourage children to aim high in their behaviour and friendships.
Respect – We nurture kindness, inclusion and care for everyone in our community.
As Midday Supervisor, you will:
• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and school premises during the lunch period
• Promote good behaviour and positive play in line with our Behaviour Policy and Christian ethos
• Support pupils’ social development and encourage inclusive, respectful interactions
• Provide care and assistance where needed, including supporting younger pupils with eating and table manners
• Ensure pupils’ safety and wellbeing at all times, responding appropriately to any accidents or incidents
• Monitor site security and report any safeguarding concerns promptly
• Organise dinner queues to maintain a calm and orderly environment
• Assist with clearing tables, managing minor spillages and resetting the dining hall ready for afternoon learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and positive lunchtime experience
We are looking for someone who is vigilant, compassionate and proactive, with a genuine commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing.
Applications must be returned by Friday 20th March 2026 at 12pm (midday).
Shortlisting will take place on Friday 20th March 2026.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 24th March 2026.
To apply, please read the full job description and person specification, which are available on our website. The application form is also available on the website.
Completed application forms should be returned to the school office.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS.
We look forward to welcoming someone who will help our children continue to flourish.
