TEACHER OF MFL (Part-time)
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of MFL. This is a permanent, part time position.
This would be a fantastic role for either an experienced teacher who is looking to further develop their career, or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive environment, within a dedicated and enthusiastic department.
The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and motivate with a passion for teaching and learning. We’re looking for someone who can be an exceptional team player and who enjoys supporting and working collaboratively with others and can share our vision to deliver outstanding education for children and young adults with the commitment to make a difference to outcomes and achievements of all our students.
We welcome applications from candidates who are:
* Qualified to teach German (essential) and French (desirable, but not essential) at Key Stage 3 & 4.
* Exceptional team players and who enjoy supporting and working collaboratively with others.
* Have the skill to form positive relationships for learning with all staff, students and parents.

About Hampton College
Hampton College is an established all-through school (ages 4-19) located in Hampton Vale, Peterborough. It sits within Hampton Academies Trust (HAT) and works closely with neighbouring schools such as Hampton Gardens and Hampton Lakes.
Opened in 2005, the school has grown to serve over 1,620 students across both primary and secondary phases, including a thriving Sixth Form. Our facilities include specialist teaching spaces, a large Sixth Form Centre, and a learning environment that supports academic excellence as well as personal development.

The Department
The school currently offers French and German at all key stages. The uptake at Key Stage 4 has been consistent. At Key Stage 5, the department has successfully supported students to progress to top universities to study languages.
The department currently consists of three teachers and is a friendly, supportive and experienced department. Every teacher has an opportunity to contribute to the planning of the curriculum and we always welcome new ideas.
Key Stage 3
The MFL Key Stage 3 structure is reviewed periodically. Current arrangements are:
Year 7: One MFL (this year German)
Year 8 & 9: One MFL (this year French)
Year 9: One MFL (this year German)
Key Stage 4/5
Students continue with the MFL assigned. We currently follow the AQA exam board at Key Stage 4.
