FINANCE/HR MANAGER

Permanent Contract 18 hours per week to start as soon as possible (flexible working hours can be discussed)
Starting Salary – Scale 5, point 14-16 (dependent upon experience) – £12049 – £12448 pa

Due to retirement of our long serving Finance/HR Manager, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team.

The successful candidate will:
– Ensure there is accurate day to day financial transactions, working closely with the Headteacher
– Preparing and monitoring the school budget
– Update payroll and personnel records
– Maintain appropriate Pre-School finances
– Maintain the accounts of the before and after school childcare provision

You will need to have:
– excellent spoken and written communication skills
– GCSE grade C or equivalent (grade 5) in Maths and English
– Good IT skills and experience of working within education finance
– a positive outlook and a sense of humour
