We require proactive, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our successful teaching team!
Actual Salary Range: £21,205 to £22,225 (Scale 1 – 2, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills)
plus SEN allowance of £2,500 pro rata.
Contract Type: 32.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum
Hours of Work: 8.45-3.45 and 8.45-4.45 Wednesdays for training
Contract Term: Permanent

Granta School is a highly successful, popular Community Area Special School, catering for pupils aged 3 to 19 years old. We currently have 186 children on roll. We are extremely proud of our team who continually work towards providing our students with the best possible learning outcomes.
We are now looking for both full and part-time teaching assistants to join our dynamic team. Part-time is required to be full days as timings stated above. The role may involve time supporting students within the class as well as spending part of the week working on a 1-1 basis with more challenging students. As such, resilience, patience, flexibility and positivity are key.
Applications are invited from teaching assistants who are passionate about working with children and young people with a wide and diverse range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Experience of working within a special school setting is highly desirable. In return, we offer a comprehensive training package, professional development and opportunities for progression.
