Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? Do you have the drive, resilience and compassion to support students to overcome barriers and succeed?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join our SEND team in a vibrant mainstream secondary school. This is a highly rewarding and impactful role, working closely with students who experience behavioural, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, helping them to re-engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students both in and beyond the classroom. You will deliver targeted interventions, build strong relationships and provide consistent guidance to help students develop positive behaviours, resilience and confidence.
You will be central to the school’s Assess Plan Do Review cycle, contributing to the identification of needs, implementation of support strategies and evaluation of impact. Your work will directly influence student outcomes and shape inclusive practice across the school.
Everything we do at The Latimer Arts College is underpinned by our core values of HEART:
• Honesty – building open, trusting relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Excellence – striving for the very best outcomes for every student
• Achieve – supporting all students to realise their full potential, regardless of barriers
• Respect – valuing every individual and promoting a culture of inclusion and understanding
• Teamwork – working collaboratively to provide consistent, high-quality support
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will embody these values every day, acting as a positive role model and champion for our students.
Why Join Us?
• A truly rewarding role where you can see the difference you make every day.
• Opportunities for professional development and training.
• A supportive and collaborative staff team.
• The chance to play a key role in shaping students’ futures and life chances.
• Health Assured (Employee Assist) access
• Golden afternoons
