Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Westwood Primary School is seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Salary: Level 2 £26,429 - £26,847 pro rata, per annum (£20,455 - £20,778 actual)
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only
Contract: Permanent (commencing September 2026)

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, committed and highly motivated individual to join our school as a Level 2 TA. This is an exciting opportunity to join us to help support individuals and groups of pupils with a high level of need and would suit someone who is an effective team member, has experience of delivering phonics intervention and ispassionate about making a positive impact to ensure that all of our pupils flourish.

Westwood Primary School is a four-form entry school, split across two neighbouring sites with lots of space for outdoor learning and sport. Our ethos is ‘Learning and Growing Together through Excellence and Enjoyment’ and our pupils are at the centre of all we do.
