About this Role
We are looking to recruit staff to join our team of casual Exam Invigilators. The role involves supervising students during examinations under the guidance of the Lead Invigilator and supporting the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of exams. Please see the attached job description for full details of the duties and responsibilities.

The main summer exam season runs from May to June, with PPEs (mock exams) taking place in November, February, March and May. Ad hoc formal exams also take place throughout the academic year. Exams are scheduled across both mornings and afternoons within the school day. External exams typically begin at 9:00am and 1:00pm and may last up to three hours.

You will usually be required to attend a short briefing before each exam. Please note that any time outside of agreed invigilation hours (e.g. lunch breaks or gaps between exams) is unpaid.

Invigilators can agree the dates and times they are available to work with the Exams Team in advance of each exam period.

Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role and applicants must hold existing UK Right to Work.

Grade 4 – £12.85 per hour (plus holiday pay), casual / term-time only
(Pay award pending)

Hours are submitted via a monthly timesheet and paid in arrears directly into your bank account.

Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator and/or within education or administration is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. If you are looking for a flexible and rewarding role within an established school, working as part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
