Level 3 Teaching Assistant required to be a Cover Supervisor

  • Level 3 SCP 7 Actual Salary £18,817 p.a.
  • 27.92 hours per week
  • Closing date for applications is Friday 4th September

We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading whole-class learning for groups of mixed-ability pupils across the Primary age range. Detailed lesson plans and resources will be provided, and your role will be to ensure that learning continues effectively in the absence of the class teacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have achieved at least Grade C (new Grade 4) in GCSE in both Mathematics and English. PLEASE NOTE: Original certificates must be shown at interview for verification. 

  • Be confident managing and supervising whole classes of children.
    Have the ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities and ages.

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Be flexible and adaptable, as cover may be required across different year groups and subjects.
    Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
    Follow lesson plans accurately and provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour.

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
