Melbourn Primary School is a warm and welcoming school on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. We are in the beautiful village of Melbourn, just a short car journey or only a 15-minute train ride from Cambridge city centre and good transport links into London.

£26,403 – £28,142 (Grade 4 Point 7 to 11, incremental with length of service).
Permanent position: 52 wks a year, 37 hrs a wk, 7-11am Mon-Fri & 3–6.30pm Thu/3.30-6.30pm Fri.

Flexibility in working hours is required to support the school with activities and any site issues.

All holiday entitlement will need to be taken during the school holiday periods.

The Site Manager can often be the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As one of the ‘faces’ of the school the Site Manager should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner.

The Site Manager will ensure the security, care and availability of the building, furniture, fittings and equipment, ensure a high-quality physical environment and promote the efficient use of the school’s assets. They will be expected to manage site Health & Safety compliance and carry out a full range of duties to provide exacting standards of cleanliness, general security and maintenance of the school premises. This will include cleaning, maintenance activities and supervision of school cleaning staff and will be conducted under the general supervision of the School Office Manager.
