SEND Teaching Assistant

We are excited to be recruiting an additional SEND Teaching Assistant to support the children in our SEND unit. At Spring Meadow we have a 30 space SEND unit which supports children with Autism with speech and language difficulties. Within the unit there are three classes and each class has a fully qualified teacher and at least three Teaching Assistants. To fully support the needs of the children within the unit we have decided to add to our already talented staff and recruit an additional Teaching Assistant.

Desirable applicants should:

•                     Have understanding and experience with children with autism

•                     be an excellent classroom practitioner

•                     have high expectations of behaviour and achievement

•                     have a commitment to teamwork and a collegiate approach

•                     be able to build relationships with children and colleagues

•                     have the ability and determination to inspire and motivate children to achieve the best they can be.

•                     have an uncompromising passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning

•                     Be a learner
