Review the employee data fields that will be shared with EPM Connect. This helps us identify supported fields and highlight any potential gaps before implementation.
Schools in scope
If you're in a trust, confirm whether the integration should be enabled for every school only for selected schools.
Data review and validation
Review a sample of synchronised records and confirm that the data is accurate before go-live. Your organisation remains responsible for checking and maintaining the quality of its MIS data.
Go-live approval
Once testing is complete, confirm that you're happy with the synchronised data and ready to activate the integration.

No. MIS integration is optional. It is designed to save time and reduce manual data entry, but you can continue to work with EPM Connect without it if you prefer.
Wonde provides the secure data link between your MIS and EPM Connect. Your School or Trust grants permission through Wonde, which then makes the agreed information available to EPM Connect.
Yes. Even where some areas are limited or not yet available, you can still register your interest. We'll assess what is possible for your provider and configuration before confirming the potential scope.
Where discrepancies are identified during synchronisation, affected records will be reported as errors. Records that match successfully can continue to be processed.
Your team can review the error report, correct the source information and allow the affected records to be processed before the next synchronisation.
No. Capability varies by MIS provider and data area. Some providers support a broad read-only integration, some also support writing certain information back, and some data areas are not yet available for any provider.
Read-only integration allows EPM Connect to receive supported information from your MIS, such as employee and absence details.
Writeback allows certain approved information, such as absence records, to be sent from EPM Connect back to your MIS. Writeback availability depends on the provider.
We'll review the information provided and contact you to confirm your MIS provider, Wonde connection and approval routes. We'll then assess the appropriate integration approach for your School or Trust.
We recommend waiting at least one month after going live with EPM Connect before enabling MIS integration.
This allows time to establish accurate data and complete initial setup activities before synchronisation begins.
Your organisation remains responsible for ensuring that employee records are accurate within the MIS.
Maintaining complete and good data quality helps to prevent synchronisation errors and discrepancies. The integration transfers supported data; it does not automatically correct inaccurate or incomplete records.
